Rugby PA

Rugby Pennsylvania (RugbyPA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe, professional framework for boys and girls youth and high school rugby competition in Pennsylvania.

RugbyPA exists to grow participation in rugby at the youth and high school levels in Pennsylvania while educating the public and players about the sport of rugby union as played under the laws of the International Rugby Board, USA Rugby, United States Olympic Committee, or other laws, if any, as adopted by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA).

RugbyPA is a state based rugby organization formed in 2012 and recognized by USA Rugby as the official youth and interscholastic rugby administrator in Pennsylvania. RugbyPA is governed by a 12 member all-volunteer Board of Directors from across Pennsylvania (four of which will be qualified and elected from its membership in 2013).

RugbyPA is responsible for developing an administrative structure with the objective of promoting the development of youth rugby in Pennsylvania. RugbyPA is also responsible for day-to-day governance including, but not limited to, organizing league structures, collecting dues, implementing a state championship, and conducting rugby outreach.
