Philadelphia Whitemarsh Launches Competitive 7s Program

Philadelphia Whitemarsh Rugby Football Club

The Philadelphia Whitemarsh Rugby Football Club is pleased to announce the revitalization of their Sevens Program. Once regarded as one of the elite 7’s programs in the country, the Club plans to restore that reputation this upcoming season.

The player pool will consist of current club members, college players, as well as any other interested players living in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

“Our goal is to build a fast-paced, energetic, and competitive sevens program that focuses on player development as much as results on the field," PWRFC President Tim Antoian reports. "We also understand that cost can be prohibitive and want to provide an environment that allows everyone to compete.”

The player-oriented Sevens Program will be based at PW’s home training grounds in Conshohocken and will grant members the unique opportunity to choose the commitment and competitive level that best fits their needs. Players will be supported by an expert coaching staff with guest appearances from PW Legends - including Marcus Maffei, Keith Cassidy, George Sucher, Marsh Pennington, and Keith McLean.
