Save the Date! Scrum Half Clinic - January 28, 2017

The EPRU will hold a Scrum Half Clinic for players and coaches on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 10 am to 4 pm in Collegeville, PA. The clinic instructor will be former USA Eagle scrum half, Mike Petri. Players who are members of an EPRU CIPP'd team will receive 3 hours of FREE instruction. Non-EPRU players are also invited and will only pay $15.00/person. Players must be 18 or older.

World Rugby Announces New Head Contact Measures

World Rugby has further strengthened its commitment to injury prevention by announcing details of a zero-tolerance approach to reckless and accidental head contact in the sport.

In a change to law, World Rugby has redefined illegal (high) tackle categories and increased sanctions to deter high tackles via a law application guideline. This will apply at all levels of the game and the guideline will be supported with a global education program.

If you're brave enough to be outside through cold, rain or snow, then join the Phoenixville White Horse Women for some outdoor touch rugby every Saturday until February 25, 2017 from 10 am to noon. Open to everyone!

Welcome our latest volunteers!

Jan Kretchschmar of King's College is the new Tier 2 Men's Collegiate Divisional Play Coordinator. Dr. Jon Niles will remain as Tier 1 Coordinator. 

Mark Basile, the coach of Swarthmore College Women will be the Assistant Coordinator for the Women's Collegiate Division. Scott Stratton will remain as the Coordinator (but luckily is getting some help!).  Welcome aboard to both Jan and Mark. Find their contact information »

Update Your Club Officers

If you've recently had elections, please remember that you must report all officer changes to the EPRU through the online webform.

Include, President, Vice President, Match Secretary, Treasurer, Head Coach (and Assistants if you have them). Colleges should also include Faculty Advisor and Collegiate Official in Charge of Rugby if they have changed.
