Susquehanna University Men Qualify for National 7s Championships

The Susquehanna University men's club rugby program competed at the National Championship 7s Qualifier on April 14 and 15 in Lancaster, Pa., winning the tournament and advancing to the 7s National Championship.

The qualifying event was one of the eight nationwide qualifiers for the National Small College Rugby Organization 7s National Championship. The NSCRO 7s National Championship will be held June 2-3 in conjunction with the Collegiate Rugby 7s Championships at Talen Energy Stadium in Philadelphia. Support the team as they prepare to compete »

SU Rugby Spring Review

The Susquehanna University Men's team only had one one side playing this past season. The Elite side finished with a record of 33-3.

The team placed 1st in a 16 team National Qualifier, and won 1st in two legs of the MARC Sevens Series along with a 3rd to win the MARC Championship. SU Rugby placed 2nd in both National Qualifiers in St. Mary's, MD and Elon, NC. The team also walked away with 1st place in the St. Andrews, NC tournament.
