Tier 1 Small College
Albright College Women's Rugby was founded in 1995 and is open to all female students at Albright. We compete in the Small College Division and also enter tournaments outside of the league season.
The Mount Saint Mary's Women's Rugby Football Club (MSMWRFC) competes in the Small College Division of the EPRU. 2012 was the club's first year of match play with success on and off the field. The ladies stepped up and formulated a team with high numbers, and natural talent that has been commended by the campus, community, and competitors. In November 2014, the club placed 4th at the NSCRO Women's Collegiate National Championship. In March 2015, the team won the EPRU Women's Collegiate 7s Championship. MSM placed 2nd at the NSCRO National 7s in May 2015.
Neumann University Women were founded in 2014 and became a Recognized Member of the EPRU in May 2014. The team is open to female students enrolled at Neumann University. Neumann has progressed so rapidly they will be moving up from Tier 2 to Tier 1 league play in the fall of 2016.
Widener University is a young team that is gaining experience. We try to play as many games as we can in the spring so we are as prepared as we can be for the league season in the fall. We love the sport of Rugby, even though most of our players never heard of Rugby before coming to play on the collegiate level.
