EPRU Women's Collegiate Tier 2 Season Recap - Neumann & Swarthmore are Top Teams

The EPRU Tier 2 women's collegiate rugby season came to a close on October 24, 2015. The Tier 2 championship tournament at Neumann University in Aston, PA followed a season in which the Tier 2 division was divided into two brackets. These brackets provided a more formalized structure to Tier 2 competition and allowed emerging teams the opportunity to plan league matches and compete for the top seed in either the East or West bracket.

Lafayette Hosting EPRU and MARC Matches on November 14th

Lafayette College will host two big men's collegiate matches on November 14th. Bucknell University will play an EPRU semifinal match vs Lafayette at 1:00 and the US Coast Guard will play in a MARC conference match vs IUP at 3:00.  Both matches at Metzgar Field.  See link below for flyer.

Mount St. Mary's Pulls Out Win Over Widener to Claim Women's Title

Saturday, Oct. 31 was the EPRU Women’s College Championship. Mount St. Mary’s University was ranked  #1 and Widener University was ranked #2. The weather was perfect and the match was heated from the very beginning.

White Horse Rugby's New Partnership

Keystone Girl's High School Rugby is partnering with White Horse Rugby Club to become the newest addition to the White Horse Rugby organization. Phoenixville White Horse Women's Rugby Club has a strong foundation with the men’s team which has been in existence for over 10 years. White Horse continued to expand with the successful addition of a women’s team in 2014 and a growing Rookie Rugby program in 2015.

Important Upcoming Men's Collegiate Match-Ups

This weekend (Oct 24), Neumann travels to Lafayette for a 1pm game. Both teams are 4-0 and have maximum points. Winner takes control of EPRU Small College East.
 
Next weekend (Oct 31) Susquehanna travels to Bucknell. Both teams may go into the game at 5-0 with the winner taking the Small College West division and #1 seed into playoffs.
