The bidding process is now open for the Mid Atlantic Men's & Women's Club Championships. In 2016 the EPRU hosts the 15s championships (an EPRU team hosted the 7s championship in 2015). We need a host for the Men's & Women's events: Men's event on May 7-8, Women's event on May 14-15. Please complete the Bid Form (link below) and submit it by November 30th.

Important Upcoming Men's Collegiate Match-Ups

This weekend (Oct 24), Neumann travels to Lafayette for a 1pm game. Both teams are 4-0 and have maximum points. Winner takes control of EPRU Small College East.
 
Next weekend (Oct 31) Susquehanna travels to Bucknell. Both teams may go into the game at 5-0 with the winner taking the Small College West division and #1 seed into playoffs.

Although we are still finalizing our playoff dates and locations, we are happy to report that our National Championships will still be held at some of the premier rugby facilities in the U.S --- Infinity Park (Men's Champions Cup), Founders Field (Men's Challenge Cup), the Rugby Athletic Center (Women's National 15s Championship) and PPL Park (Men's National 7s Championship).

80 Collegiate Women's Players Attend Pre-Season Basic Skills Clinic

The September 5th clinic at Mount St. Mary's University was attended by 80 players from 6 different colleges (Susquehanna, Juniata, F&M, DeSales, UMBC, Mount St. Mary's).  The players were given instruction in the morning on body position, passing, tackling safety, decision making, attack position and ball placement.

The USA Rugby Training Camp, powered by Atavus (formerly Severi Rugby), comes to the Philadelphia area Oct 31 to Nov. 1 at Malvern Prep. The training camp, for players age 14 and up, is open to both males and females (separated for skills and contact drills).

RugbyPA Mobility Volunteer Program - Raise funds for your club!

Volunteers will greet handicapped individuals arriving by bus, personal cars, vans and subway stations and assisting them to the Ben Franklin Parkway or other event destination. After assisting, volunteers will report to the Pennsylvania Convention Center for refreshments and possible re-assignment.

EPRU Awards Scholarships for East Stroudsburg Player Development Camp

Each year the EPRU provides scholarship funds for 3 collegiate players to attend the East Stroudsburg Player Development Camp based on the submission of an essay. This year Meg Miller, Molly Stocker and Nataly Cisneros were lucky enough to be chosen and to attend the camp tuition-free. Meg is a scrumhalf, Molly a lock, and Nataly a hooker.
