Toys for Tots

Annual Toys for Tots Happy Hour

Philadelphia Women's Rugby, along with the Schuylkill River Exiles Men, are hosting the annual Toys for Tots Happy Hour at O'Neals Pub on December 3rd from 8pm to 11pm. Bring an unwrapped toy and receive happy hour specials. If you play rugby, all backs should bring a toy for girls and forwards for a boy. Tier 1 Women's Collegiate Playoffs

Results are in! Mount St. Mary's defeated Neumann 39-26. MSMU will represent the EPRU at the NSCRO Mid Atlantic regional championship on November 12-13 hosted by Mount St. Mary's. Neumann will go to the NSCRO Central Regional Championship at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.The winner of that event will advance to the National Championship on December 3-4 at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Widener defeated Albright to take 3rd and 4th places respectively.

Two Women's Collegiate Teams Advance to NSCRO Regionals

Mount St. Mary's and Neumann University will advance to the NSCRO Regional Championships on November 12-13. In a close game until the end, Mount St. Mary's defeated Neumann University for 1st place by a score of 39-26. The match was tied 12-12 at the half. Mount St. Mary's will host the NSCRO Mid-Atlantic South Regional Championship at Echo Field, while Neumann University will travel to Denison University in Granville, Ohio  to participate in the Central Region Championship.

PWRFC Hall of Fame Banquet Set

Philadelphia-Whitemarsh has announced their annual HOF banquet date and location - February 4th at the Chester Valley Golf Club in Malvern. EARLY BIRD tickets are $60 through January 2nd. January 3rd - February 3rd, tickets will be $65. Last minute tickets can also be purchased at the door for $70. In addition to appetizers, dinner, there will be a silent auction and raffle.

The yearly mandatory meeting for ALL women's collegiate teams will be held Sunday, November 20 from 1:00-3:00 pm. F & M College is hosting. Please be ready to send at least one (1) member of your team. Susquehanna Men's Rugby Receives Alumni Contribution

The Susquehanna Alumni, Family & Friends Rugby Fund has been established to enable Susquehanna U Men's Rugby Club to have experiential learning opportunities by attending tournaments, camps and other related activities as approved by the University.The fund has been established with an initial contribution of $10,000 by 2015 rugby alumni Aaron Trate from Danville, PA. Aaron believes that Rugby can help students become leaders and great teammates throughout life. Aaron hopes that others will be inspired by his gift and support the Rugby program as well.
