Exciting Championship Matches at Philadelphia 10s

Across all of the divisions, each championship match was worth sticking around to see. Both finals teams put all they had on the pitch to win the trophy.

In the Men's Premiere Championships, the host team Northeast Philadelphia RFC faced off against Doylestown Rugby. Although Northeast put on a good showing, Doylestown walked away with the victory. Doylestown ended the day without losing a single game.

In the Women's Premiere Championship, Trashy Magic took the trophy with a victory over the long traveled Albany Team. Both teams dominated their pools during pool play, guaranteeing the it would be an even match. The first half of the championship match went back and forth between the squads, but in the second half Trashy Magic drew away to take the lead over Albany.

The Society of Loyola Old Boys went undefeated all day to win against Yippie-Try-Yay in the Men's Social Division. The championship match took some endurance from the Loyola Old Boys, winning only by one try. In the last play of the match, Yippie-Try-Yay was on their own 5 meter line with the ball; they were able to drive the ball all the way down to the other 5 meter line... But unfortunately for Yippie-Try-Yay, the referee blew the whistle for the knock on which ended the match.
