After a successful teacher and coach training in Philadelphia this past weekend (October 5, 2008) attended by 45 participants, Play Rugby USA has released a teacher orientation presentation for use nationwide. In conjunction with running the Play Rugby USA after school programs, Play Rugby is also a strong advocate for the inclusion of non contact and flag rugby into Physical Education classes throughout America.
With a number of upcoming Physical Education conferences over the next few months, Play Rugby USA has created a presentation online for rugby players, coaches and teachers to use to promote the game. Play Rugby has trained over 500 teachers over the last couple of years and has used this experience to pull together this simple presentation which was used and well received this weekend in Philadelphia.
