Concussions are a hot topic in the media and in the world of sports; with all involved trying to better understand the signs/symptoms and risks associated with a concussion. In an attempt to better educate players, parents and coaches about concussions the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society (PATS) has partnered with Sport Safety International to offer a free online educational series titled Concussion Wise.
The Concussion Wise series offers state specific (DE, NJ, PA…) guidelines for players, parents and coaches. The Concussion Wise series can be accessed through the link below or by visiting www.gopats.org and clicking on the Concussion Wise logo.
