Media Hosts NOVA at 1pm at Chiccino Field
This Saturday Media will be hosting this Saturday in Bridgeport. In thier last match in a freezing cold conditions against DCs Washington Rugby Club, Media Rugby was able to overcome the mud, rain, sleet, and more mud to win decicively 59-0. Prior to that match, Media defeated Schuylkill River Exiles 49-24 in a local DI clash.

Washington (0-6) travels to Schuylkill (2-3) Saturday in Fairmount Park
Saturday's Washington vs. Schuylkill River (SR) match is scheduled to kickoff at 1:00pm at Memorial Hall Field in Fairmount Park. Coming in to the match, Schuylkill is 2-3 in league play, while Washington is 0-6. A win for Schuylkill puts them closer to the goal of qualifying for the 2012 playoffs, while a loss dampens those chances considerably.

The Hawks vs The Owls Saturday at 4:00pm
A classic Philadelphia rivalry between the Temple Owls and the St. Joe Hawks will take place this Saturday at 4:00pm on the campus of St. Joseph's University. The Big Five match-up will be played on Finnessy Field, the main varsity athletic field for Saint Joseph's University.

2011 MARFU Under 19 Girls All Star Team Announced
The 2011 MARFU Under 19 Girls All Star team was selected on Sunday, October 2nd after a one day tryout in Shippensburg, PA. The MARFU U19 team, including 17 EPRU players, travel to Ft Lauderdale, Florida on November 18-20 to defend the U19 National Championship.

Women's Division II Collegiate Update
Division II women’s colleges in Eastern Pennsylvania took their first step into the post season this weekend, and Temple, La Salle, Shippensburg and Delaware are still in the hunt for a seed to the MARFU championships.

PWRFC Wins EPRU Division III with a perfect 8-0 Season
Philadelphia Whitemarsh finished the regular EPRU season with a perfect 8-0 season with a win today over Wilkes Barre. The win sets up PWRFC for the top seed in the MARFU playoffs in the spring of 2012. North Penn and Old Gaelic finished a razor-close second and third.
