The EPRU currently has a moratorium on the admittance of any new senior men's club teams in a geography where one already exists. New players are encouraged to join already existing teams.
Membership is a three step process in the EPRU. The three types of membership are:
Recognized, Associate and Full.
Recognized Membership is for all newly-formed clubs (except High School teams). Recognized Membership is required for a minimum one year period. After one year, the club must apply for Associate Membership unless the club receives an exemption from the EPRU Executive Board. Recognized membership benefits are listed in this section.
Associate Membership is the next step after a club completes one year of Recognized Membership. Associate Membership is restricted to a maximum period of two years. The club may apply for Full Membership after one year of Associate Membership, but must apply during the second year. With Associate Membership also comes an increase in EPRU benefits.
Full Membership is the final step and has no time limit. Full
Members are eligible for all benefits offered by the EPRU.
For
High School membership, High School teams must be affiliated with
a Full or Associate EPRU member in good standing or be a team
fully affiliated with the high school as a recognized school activity.
New
High School teams must complete a Permanent
High School Application. Teams who are current EPRU Members,
must complete a High School Renewal Application Form every year (by January 15th) in order
to be declared as members for that year and play in the HS League
schedule.
